we almost had a scene confirming and displaying john walking around 221b with wet hair and only a towel just casually in front of sherlock

please understand…someone wrote that in a script, decided it was too much, and scaled it back to the still amazing john chilling in his bathrobe…but like that scene in the script would mean DAILY john gets out the shower not even fully dry freeballing under a towel while sherlock is living his life. like also there was no narrative reason for john to have been showering conveniently in trf

This is not anti-Nicole Kidman but more of a spotlight on the ones in control of the Emmys. The ones who softly played off others, allowed Nicole to speak on to her liking with no orchestra to play her off, but then cut a historic moment and equally important speech with blaring music and a mic cut. Luckily, however, Sterling was able to finish his speech backstage [x].

So. Just to make sure I’ve grasped this. Out of all that the Emmy Awards could’ve picked to represent Sherlock series 4, they picked the “Sherlock and John embrace” from The Lying Detective…. and then didn’t give Sherlock any awards. Huh. So the elephant in the room attended the Emmys…. but didn’t win any awards.
