Today Donald Trump met for 2 hours with his boyfriend/handler Vladimir Putin with no one else in the room except for translators. Afterwards, they held a press conference, and on live TV, Trump committed blatant treason. This is an impeachable offense. An impeachable offense that is eligible for the death penalty.
Multiple Republicans released statements criticizing the #TreasonSummit, but the sad fact is that by Wednesday, they’re going to forget all about it and move on with their plans to strip people of their healthcare and their rights and make the destruction of the middle class complete while they enrich the 1%.
We were at least figuratively annexed by Russia today, and Putin is actually our president. It’s going to be up to the people of this country to overcome this. We need to get off our complacent assess and do something. March, protest, occupy, disrupt.
And for fuck’s sake, VOTE IN THE MIDTERM ELECTIONS IN NOVEMBER. Russia is no doubt going to hack us again in November. Get out there and vote to get rid of all the Republicans in such high numbers that the Russian hacking won’t be able to make a difference.
Reclaim our country.
I am not from America and I have a question- you say that what he did is an impeachable offense, right? So, couldn’t the American people technically just like… sue him? And therefore impeach him? Like, go to court and be like: „ this man committed treason I want him to be impeached now, please and thank you?“ and if you can’t do this, why can’t you? I just want to understand better, how this all works..
Wiki breaks it down but it’s long. But to answer your question no. He’s already being sued by A LOT of people for various things. But there are protections for the president in that he can’t be found guilty of some things (?) if that makes sense. I don’t know the details exactly. But it assumes that the president is not a shady POS and wouldn’t be elected if he did anything bad…but Trump kinda blew that out of the water. (Trump did settle a lawsuit while in office, for Trump Univeristy, and he had to pay out for it). Anyways, the people could not directly impeach him. The House of Representatives have the sole power to impeach. And no president has ever been fully impeached before. All were pardoned or resigned before it could be completed. We could make petitions and protest, etc but the House has to do it.
It just takes a reason or several to start the process. A member of the House has to bring it to the floor and it gets voted on. And it has be brought up in committees before (smaller groups of reps that deal with specific things and they bring what laws they think up to the table) OR from a outside committee that’s working through whether or not the president has committed a crime. Also while this is happening he remains in office. Along with everyone in his cabinet.
Luckily we DO have someone figuring out if he did something illegal right now, Robert Muller. He has not gotten to Trump yet, but he has indicted several people already. I think about 40-50 now(?) some are Russian intelligence, some were part of trumps campaign. Namely Paul Manafort who is currently in prison and has 2 trials for 2 separate crimes. He WAS trumps head campaign chair. Trump wants muller gone and will find any reason for his committee to end. That’s what trump means when he says it’s a witch hunt. (But it’s really not…at least not yet, he just wants the people to believe that)
That’s as good as a summary as I could give. Hope that helps!
the monster dog in thob being “nothing more than an ordinary dog,” simply a product of “fear and stimulus” and what their “drugged minds wanted [them] to see”……“but there never was any monster”…………….this is literally a metaphor for homosexuality and like sherlock literally saw moriarty when he was drugged and john locked himself in a–actually you know what i can’t finish this post

I’m over these answers that mofftiss are giving. Honestly if you aren’t going to give a decent answer don’t bother? Like REALLY truly if you can’t tell us cause you don’t know, or can’t for whatever reason just say so. “Funny” answers aren’t cute
Well, we haven’t written any of that yet. Originally, they lived together because they couldn’t afford homes on their own. Now John’s a GP, and Sherlock is the MOST FAMOUS DETECTIVE IN THE WORLD. And the most likely to throw a crying infant out the window.
….Sherlock baby proofed 221b for Rosie….and in the books Sherlock bought Watson’s practice so he would move back…..and we know that jumping out the windows causes no harm. You mean to tell us that Sherlock would not want to deal with a crying baby?
