the-7-percent-solution:

Alert me in the following extraordinary, impossible cases:

1) BBC Sherlock is canceled
2) A Tabloid reports Martin Freeman to have done something equally as heroic as Benedict Cumberbatch did last week (like gave the Heimlich to a man choking on chips in Hyde Park last February or something ridiculous)
3) Queen Elizabeth II interacts with the new Sherlock content in an adorably-cute-for-an-old-person kind of way (like her James Bond/Olympics stuff)
4) Any Sherlock actor reports doing anything related to their in-universe persona but not related to the escape game (for example, Mark Gatiss has tea with Corbyn or Khan, Toby Jones volunteers at a children’s hospital, Rupert Graves is a key witness in a petty crime)

IF one of these incredibly unrealistic things happen any time soon, then, and only then, will I consider the possibility of an ARG in relation to the events of The Geek Interpreter.

“Rooting for [Johnlock] brought tremendous joy into people’s lives, but it also unleashed real darkness into the world” but not the first 115 years that people theorized it, just the last few when those women on the internet started talking about it

“You think it was the cat.  It wasn’t the cat.”

I just love this whole scene for the fact that Sherlock somehow acquires a bunch of professional photography equipment and shows up at this poor dude’s house playing the bumbling photog to John’s journo, and it’s all for no purpose whatsoever other than humoring John.  Since Sherlock already knows at this point that it was Raoul with the Botox, and he has known for at least a few hours.  (Hours in which a blind hostage is helplessly waiting for Sherlock to save her.)

But John thinks it’s the cat, so Sherlock’s more than happy to play along because John is too adorable when he thinks he has figured something out.

how did martin and ben do it though. like even in the pilot, even on the first day john and sherlock met, it already felt like john and sherlock had already known each other for ages. yes, it’s the easy banter between them but there’s also something else. something unnameable, something intangible that makes them look and feel so right together. it’s the rightness that kills me. the bone-deep comfort they seem to have around each other. that’s some next-level chemistry.
