@sarahthecoat exactly! Fandom has always had a problem with lumping people into one category or another. And I have a feeling a few of those on tumblr who are reblogging posts saying “unfollow me now if you agree with harassment, blah” haven’t even seen the convo. But tumblr is good for yelling viewpoints into the void and having some people yell back without knowing what they are yelling for or about.

These are so perplexing! It’s one thing to see ads for sketchy companies that we’re not sure even exist, but Burberry is a real thing, and if BC were doing ads for them, it would be publicized. And he would have his own hair, not Sherlock’s… what even are these ads??
@madnerdywitch oh BOY. If you check her Twitter you can see the conversation. In a nutshell: the poor writing of Molly in TFP (the throughout the show in general) got brought up. Loo insists that queer fans just wanted Sherlock to say ILU to John so that’s why they’re pissed. She completely missed the point even though she says she knows what we are talking about despite never seeing TFP for herself.
To add: apparently now it’s harassment?? I haven’t gone through all of the tweets. But I saw the ones she replied to (like cupidford’s)…and it’s not? Someone please correct me if I’m not seeing the Twitter convo correctly, but like….having a conversation where both sides don’t agree doesn’t mean one side or both is being harassed.
I don’t get it. Show’s over, as they continue to insist. Then move on. You’re on twitter, trolls are like…kingyo no unko, you don’t get rid of trolls by trolling the trolls. Everyone knows that. Months of silence and now a random yet very specific tweet? To do what?
Also, why do all the people involved with the show inevitably take up the “horrible human” persona on twitter? I’m not being snarky, I mean it sincerely; it’s like… a sick joke kind of pattern.
