I was rewatching TLD and….

Why the HELL is Culverton Smith wearing John and Sherlock’s EXACT wedding outfit?

It’s down to the white tie and white waistcoat and its very specific buttons and the pocket square… i mean the only thing missing is the flower because that would have made it too obvious. Why include this one second clip in TLD that almost no viewer is gonna pick up?

My theory is, this reinforces Culverton as a John mirror. It perhaps tips us off about John being the actual killer here – aka John’s alibi, needed after shooting Mary…
