Mycroft Holmes is Actually Batman’s Nemesis The Penguin

Remember Mycroft’s Umbrella Sword Gun? 

Yeah well he AND The Penguin (from the Batman Comics) both have the same weapon. And neither of them
have been seen in the same room. Therefore, Mycroft and The Penguin are the
same person!

Need I even explain? The resemblance is uncanny!

The nose! The expression! The same air of wealth and sophistication!

Why Did They Promote the Leak?

Welcome to my self-made game show called….

 How it works: A random guest from the
audience pulls a topic from a hat and I have 2 minutes (reading time) or less to
explain *audience shouting* THAT THING THAT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE!

 

Why did they promote the leak?

This makes perfect sense if you think
about it. And use a bit of math.

Only the Sherlock Facebook page AND Sue
Vertue said to NOT seek it out. Those are two negatives. Which, if you take
simple properties of math, equals a positive. Meaning, they DID want die-hard
fans to find the Russian dub before it aired on BBC.

TPTB knew that the episode was wacko
regardless, and they wanted to use the subtext of a Russian Dub to really hit
home. Sort of like: “We know that this episode makes no sense. It’s not
supposed to. Here’s a dub in a language that has nothing do to with the global political
climate at all. Just to make sure you really understand that there’s nothing to
understand here.”

So I Can Move On

It’s time. I’ve mourned s4 for long enough I think.

To do this I will be making a few things that I’ve always wanted to do, but never have. And some send off, one last time things.

1. Making a crack video or 2

2. One last meta

3. A post about my favorite things from the show

4. My reaction to S4

And lastly, the big one….

5. A s4 fix it fic (posted on ao3 if possible)

I’m going out in style my friends.

I expect all of this to take a few weeks at least. Don’t get me wrong, I still love s1-s3 and TAB and I will never deactivate this blog, but I think it’s time to find greener pastures.

After I do all of this, I will be making another, separate Sherlock blog that is more general, and NOT an archive. (It’s time to be a regular fan again). I’ll make a call when I finish my list as to whether I keep my archive updated. But that’s in the future.

Here’s to BBC Sherlock and to moving on

I actually feel bad for anyone who thinks something else is coming. Like no hate, keep believing if you can and are able to. I just-I finally realized that they aren’t that clever. The show WAS clever and amazing…it was like no other show on tv at the time. BUT they axed all of it for a self indulgent season that only makes sense if you look at it from 10 miles away on a foggy night.
