AT LEAST TRY TO BE SUBTLE WHEN YOU USE THE SAME LOCATIONS, THIS IS NOT FUNNY STEVEN!

Drug den (HLV) and Mount Stuart Square (gay pilot & TLD) in this week’s DW episode “The Lie of the Land”

Also: Bill and the Doctor are sitting outside “Rathbone Place” at the end of the episode.

Look familiar?

Maybe I’m reading too much into this, but the use of this location in this context on Doctor Who does seem sort of significant? Bill and the Doctor are outside this building after the Monks and their lies have been defeated and the truth has been restored. Sherlock and John are trying to get outside the building (and away from the Rathbone adaptation) but as Mark has said, “we don’t know if they made that last step.” We’re still waiting for them to get out and for the truth to be revealed.

Also, the girl in the red scarf said something about, “filming something.”

Shit you’re right…isn’t Sherlock Holmes established as a fictional character in the DW universe? Could they have been filming Sherlock? God I hate them
