IT WASN’T THE DAD WHO SUGGESTED THE BIRTHDAY CARD. TOM FOUND OUT IT WAS BEN’S BIRTHDAY AND HE ASKED HIS DAD TO GIVE HIM A CARD. AND THEN THEY WENT CARD SHOPPING. AND HE PICKED. A. PIRATE. CARD!!!!
Tom’s dad says Benedict Cumberbatch signed the sword: “lovely to work with you xxx”. So, yeah, that sound you’re hearing – that’d be me melting.
