If you’re looking for fucky, this is it. And a few days before easter too! I am reservedly screaming.

“A missing husband” . Sherlock was missing his husband in S4. Someone stole him and replaced him with an imposter. John was missing Sherlock too, because he’s been stuck in some other alternate universe.

Talking about whether the man who disappeared is a ghost or not. (ghosts of the past? all the talk of ghosts pre-s4??)

The TOY SHOP!! In the canon story, the toy in question was some bricks. But this particular toy shop they’ve photographed…do you know what they specialize in?? Toy theatres. Umm…the curtain rises?? All the S4 clues that we’re watching a show within a show?? 

And then this comment:

Exactly, because narrators of stories can be unreliable…narrators. 

Also, this particular ACD story might have been chosen because the subtext is very relevant. It’s about a man who wears what is essentially a mask. Like a facade. He does it because he discovers he can make much more money, and wants to provide for his wife and give her nice things. Maybe he thinks she wouldn’t like the ordinary him, so every single day of his life for years he goes out and disguises himself as someone else to make more money. Just like Sherlock tries to maintain the facade that he thinks John loves him for. Even though John, like Mrs St Clair, would love the ordinary man underneath. Mr St Clair’s scheme is eventually foiled when his wife catches the merest glimpse of what he has been hiding, then is determined to locate her missing husband.

One more thing.

My dear, don’t be frightened. All will come well. Huge error must be rectified. Wait in patience.

The note is from @contactJHW. I had a quick look at the hand writing but it’s hard because the other ones were in all caps. 

But the little ‘o’ again. Who writes their o’s so tiny? @antisocial-otaku

Okay fuck everything, I did it again, cause I needed to see which letters looked the same. The o looks very much alike like you pointed @tjlcisthenewsexy 

And here you go, the other ones. The v, e, n & t looks very much alike. But not the a and c so it’s driving me crazy. But dear lord the resemblance of the others is stunning. I wanna kill…
