every shitty thing they ever did. the shit they did to irene adler in asib – making her a lesbian dominatrix who walked around naked for no reason, making her lose, making her have to be saved by sherlock – everything they did to john’s role in hound of the baskervilles, that time they made sherlock holmes shoot their equivalent of milverton when holmes never shoots a person in the whole canon on purpose, every shitty thing they ever did to the stories i hold nearest and dearest to my heart, all of those things were for fucking nothing. they just don’t understand them. they’re just like every other shitty old white gross man who doesn’t get it, who condescended to me at a convention, who’s just in for the cleverness and not the heart. well fuck you both. those stories are mine, and this doesn’t take them away, because you did a shit job with them anyways.

a fake and a murderer who literally never shared a moment of genuine affection with her husband and who literally was only able to be in john’s life to begin with because he thought the love of his life was dead
